Tre Fiori won the Sammarinese title for just the ninth title ever and for the first time since 2020. Tre Fiori did fail to do the domestic double, though, as they succumbed to a 3-1 loss to La Fiorita in the Coppa Titano final.

They now face a Larne side that, under the management of Gary Haverson, have been excellent in recent years in terms of growing their European pedigree, having made it to the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League then the third qualifying round before a loss to Santa Clara last season.

Larne are very rarely the favourite for a European tie and they should come out on top against Tre Fiori in the first-leg of this first qualifying round tie.
