Toulouse preview: Mid-table Toulouse

Toulouse come into this one on the back of a much-needed victory in their most recent outing last weekend, ending what was a damaging and irritating six-match losing streak in Ligue 1.

The home team produced a thrilling 4-3 victory away at rock/bottom Metz at Stade Saint-Symphorien last week, courtesy of goals from Aron Donnum and Mario Sauer, as well as a brace scored by Yann Gboho.

Lorient preview: Impressive Lorient

Lorient most recently defeated Lens by two goals to one at Stade du Moustoir last weekend. Bamba Dieng and Tosin Aiyeguns scored the goals either side of a strike from former Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard.

Following their promotion to the top-flight last season, the progressive and entertaining Lorient have been very impressive as they push for a top seven spot and potential European qualification in Ligue 1.

Toulouse team news: Couple of doubts

Toulouse are dealing with a couple of injury doubts for this week as goalkeeper Guillaume Restes is potentially sidelined alongside midfielder Cristian Casseres Jr.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Haug; Sidibe, Nicolaisen, McKenzie; Donnum, Vossah, Diop, Kamanzi; Gboho, Russell-Rowe, Santiago Hidalgo

Questionable: Restes (Injured), Cristian Casseres Jr (Injured)

Lorient team news: Suspension issues

Lorient travel to Toulouse with a couple of suspension issues for this weekend as defender Abdoul Bamo Meite is now sidelined alongside versatile attacker Pablo Pagis.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Mvogo; Adjei, Talbi, Faye; Le Bris, Avom, Dermane, Kouassi; Makengo, Cadiou; Dieng

Toulouse vs Lorient prediction

Home advantage will give Toulouse some impetus to get themselves on the front foot. Lorient, having beaten a title challenging Lens side last week, will themselves be full of confidence and it should be quite an entertaining watch for the neutral in which both teams scoring seems a good bet.
