This should be an entertaining scrap between two left-handers full of energy on court. 27-year-old Yoshihito Nishioka could set a new career-high ATP world ranking of 31st if he comes through this tough opening fixture at the Madrid Open and he looks capable of doing so after taking Jannik Sinner to three sets in an impressive eventual defeat in Barcelona last week.
