26-year-old Tommy Paul set a career-high ATP world ranking of 14th this week after recently finishing runner-up to Francisco Cerundolo at the Eastbourne International, although most of the American’s points came from a career-changing run to the semi-finals at the Australian Open back in January. Paul reached was just edged out in five gruelling sets by Jiri Lehecka in the third round at Wimbledon two weeks ago but a win over former finalist Milos Raonic in the second is testament to his strength on the surface. 19-year-old Ethan Quinn will be ecstatic after winning on his tour debut at the Hall of Fame Open, conceding just four games to Sasi Kumar Mukund, and the youngster will beak the top 400 for his efforts. This looks several leagues too strong, though, with Paul desperate to capitalise on his recent grass form as the top seed in a wide open draw. Back Paul to win in straight sets.
