Former world number 12 Yanina Wickmayer came back from a set down to stun second seed Lin Zhu on Tuesday and she looks set for a good run in Prague. The Belgian is currently ranked 93rd and she spends most of her time on the doubles side of a draw these days but a run to the semi-finals of the Poland Open last week saw her lose competitively to eventual champion Iga Swiatek to look the favourite here. World number 99 Tamara Korpatsch is yet to drop a set this week after qualifying handily before a solid win over Viktoriya Tomova on Monday but she will have to be at her best to tackle Wickmayer in this mood. The German has failed to win back-to-back matches all season, so take Wickmayer to win their first tour-level meeting.
