World number 15 Tommy Paul finished runner-up to Francisco Cerundolo at the Eastbourne International on Saturday but things could have been different had he not had to play a full semi-final earlier in the day due to rain delays. It remains to be seen if the 26-year-old struggles with a bit of fatigue from the efforts on Tuesday but he has been awarded one of the kinder openers in the draw against 20-year-old qualifier Shintaro Mochizuki. The world number 212 briefly broke the top 200 last month but he is seeking a first tour-level win here after losing his first six at this level. The youngster has nothing to lose on his Grand Salm debut but Paul reached the round of 16 here last season with some excellent grass-court tennis and he could be one to watch this week. Back Paul to win in straight sets.
