Former world number one Victoria Azarenka needed three sets to put out qualifier Yue Yuan on Monday in an ultimately encouraging result. World number 80 Nadia Podoroska came back from a set down to oust grass-court lover Tereza Martincova on Monday to match her best run here from 2021 but the Argentine has Grand Slam pedigree as a semi-finalist at Roland-Garros in 2020. Azarenka conceded just one game to Podoroska at this stage of her run to the semi-finals at the Australian Open back in January but she is less assured on the grass. Back the Belarussian to win in straight sets on its own or outright inside an accumulator.
