THE PREDICTION
This will be a fascinating rematch between world number 33 Sebastian Korda and number 58 Marton Fucsovics after Korda beat the Hungarian in straight sets at Winston-Salem on Wednesday. The 23-year-old came back from a set down to beat Richard Gasquet before pulling out of the semi-finals ahead of the US Open and he should find a vengeful Fucsovics on Monday for a match that could feasibly see five sets. Korda’s level at the start of the season looked set to see him break the top 20 on tour but an injury in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open totally scuppered his progress. 31-year-old Fucsovics impressed at Wimbledon last month, taking the first set form Daniil Medvedev before defeat in four in the third round, but he has struggled to find that intensity since. The sensible move is taking Korda to win outright here but you could consider adding at least a tiebreak.
