27-year-old Nicolas Jarry is enjoying the form of his career in 2023, setting a career-high ATP world ranking of 28th last month after a brilliant run to the round of 16 at Roland-Garros. The Chilean won his second ATP title on home soil at the Santiago Open in February and his third at the Geneva Open in May, upsetting the likes of Grigor Dimitrov, Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud en-route. A win over Stefanos Tsitsipas at the Halle Open was thoroughly impressive but it remains to be seen what he can do for the rest of this season away from his favoured clay. World number 89 Marco Cecchinato reached the semi-finals of Roland-Garros at his peak in 2018 but the Italian is also a clay-court aficionado who has lost all four of his previous matches at Wimbledon. The 30-year-old has won just one set at SW19 since his first appearance in 2017 but it is still sensible to back Jarry to win outright.
