2021 runner-up Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova beat Linda Fruhvirtova in impressive straight sets on Monday to continue her recent improvement on tour. The current world number 333 ended her season early last spring to undergo surgery on a recurrent knee injury and she now has a hugely encouraging 5-3 record on her favoured clay since returning to the surface last month.
