World number 97 Juan Pablo Varillas came back from a set down to beat Albert Ramos-Vinolas on Sunday for an impressive start to any clay-court campaign and he should feel a lot looser after snapping a three-match losing streak. A first meeting between the two has the potential for three sets, particularly as Cerundolo is coming from such a high, so back the Argentine to win outright here for caution’s sake.
