24-year0old Alex de Minaur set a career-high ATP world ranking of 12th this week after finishing runner-up to Jannik Sinner at the Canada Masters on Sunday, his first ATP 1000 final. The 36-year-old has been contemplating retirement since his comeback from injury this summer and that could be the drive behind this sudden insatiable form.
