This will be a tough match to follow for home fans in Buenos Aires as up-and-coming Facundo Diaz Acosta, who will set a new career-high of around 75th for his efforts so far, takes on perennial underdog Federico Coria for a place in the final. 23-year-old Diaz Acosta took Taylor Fritz to five sets at the Australian Open last month to suggest he was ready for a breakthrough season on tour and he has bettered last week’s quarter-final exit in Cordoba with a superb run to the semi-finals, beating tough foes in these conditions all the way.
