DARIA SAVILLE VS JASMINE PAOLINI PREDICTION
28-year-old Jamsine Paolini set a career-high WTA world ranking of 12th after her remarkable shock run to the Dubai Masters title in February.
The Italian is a solid all-courter with the sort of battling moxie that can frustrate anyone who underestimates her, and that has seen huge wins over the likes of Maria Sakkari, Beatriz Haddad-Maia and Ons Jabeur this season as she defies her apparent ceiling. An early exit to Mayar Sherif at the Italian Open will have hurt last time out but she has performed well enough on clay since the start of the swing to suggest she can bounce back here.
World number 84 Daria Saville is a similarly industrious grafter but the Aussie has struggled to find her best intensity since coming back from injury last season.
