The 26-year-old has been struggling with both fitness and form so far this season but back-to-back wins over top players in ADF and Hubert Hurkacz suggests he is finding his groove again and he only recently won his first Masters title at the Cincinnati Open last August. World number 92 Daniel Altmaier will snap his career-high ATP world ranking of 53rd with one more win after enjoying the run of his young career so far. The 23-year-old is yet to drop a set after coming through to the second round as a lucky loser and the momentum of that second chance has exponentially increased with each passing round. Altmaier conceded just three games to Jaume Munar on Tuesday but Coric will be his first opponent ranked inside the top 80 this fortnight and that should prove the difference eventually.
