Former world number 18 Benoit Paire came back from a set down to beat an out-of-sorts Andy Murray on Monday, claiming his first tour-level result in over a year. The 34-year-old spends most of his time on the Challenger circuit these days but he will be eager to build on this confidence-boosting win on home soil, although the crowd may be split between a veteran and up-and-coming Harold Mayot. The 21-year-old set a new career-high ATP world ranking of 144th this week after some strong work on the Challenger circuit so far this year and he has already ousted one old name in French tennis with a straight-sets win over Lucas Pouille on Tuesday.
