27-year-old Benjamin Bonzi set a career-high ATP world ranking of 42nd earlier this season but he has fallen back as far as 94th coming into Wimbledon after suffering an injury early in April. This is the Frenchman’s second tour-level match back on tour after a straight-sets defeat to Tommy Paul in Stuttgart three weeks ago but he remains the favourite here as a strong competitor on grass. 21-year-old Harold Mayot qualified without dropping a set this week to make his Wimbledon debut and there is certainly a chance at the upset given his compatriot’s lack of recent playing time. Leave this match out of an accumulator with the risk of Bonzi having to retire but otherwise back the elder Frenchman to edge through.
