THE PREDICTION
World number 22 Alexander Zverev played well to avoid a serious test by Nicolas Jarry, who has just upset Stefanos Tsitsipas, in straight sets on Friday. The 26-year-old is yet to win a title on grass but 13 on hardcourts and six on clay are testament to his excellent game for all surfaces and he can be a serious threat on grass when his serve hits its peak potential. World number 48 Alexander Bublik grabbed his best win of what has been a tough season so far when Jannik Sinner was forced to retire from the second set of their match on Friday. The Kazakh, also 26, has put out three top players this week, particularly in-form Jan-Lennard Struff, to put his awful 2023 form in the rear view for now and he will be up for the challenge here as he leads Zverev 2-1 in their head-to-head. Bublik stunned Zverev to win his maiden ATP title at the Montpellier Open last season but the German got his first win on the board in three sets at Monte-Carlo in April. Back Bublik to earn at least a set, as he has in all three of their previous meetings, to leave the victor up to chance.
