THE PREDICTION

World number 79 Quentin Halys coped very well indeed after his match with British hopeful Dan Evans was moved to Centre Court having been delayed by rain two sets up earlier on Tuesday. The 26-year-old looked assured on serve throughout the encounter, dropping the third set in a tiebreak before applying pressure in the fourth. 27-year-old Aleksandar Vukic also came through a tough first round clash in four sets with an impressive victory over Daniel Altmaier. The Aussie will set a new career-high ATP world ranking of around 81st for his trouble but this is a huge opportunity for both players to reach the third round of a Grand Slam for the first time. Both have enjoyed recent success on the Challenger circuit this season to bring strong form into SW19 and this match looks a reasonable candidate for five sets between two big-servers. In that case, take Halys to earn at least a set as the just-about likelier victor and add at least a tiebreak in for good measure as both players saw one in their openers.
