THE PREDICTION

23-year-old Sebastian Baez set a new career-high ATP world ranking of 21st after winning his most prestigious of five career ATP titles at the Rio Open last weekend and he looks the solid favourite to claim back-to-back titles on tour for the second time in seven months. The Argentine beat Pedro Martinez in straight sets on Saturday to make it eight wins on the spin as he enjoys another one of his ruthless patches, with success in Kitzbuhel and Winston-Salem last August proof of his pedigree at this level. 26-year-old Alejandro Tabilo will break inside the top 40 for the first time after reaching a second ATP final this season and he will be backed to the hilt as the home favourite here in Santiago. The Chilean came back from a set down to beat Corentin Moutet on Saturday but he will find a much fiercer challenge here with Baez winning each of his last four finals on tour. Back the Argentine to edge a likely thriller.

TIP: SEBASTIAN BAEZ TO WIN
