ALEJANDRO TABILO VS LUCIANO DARDERI PREDICTION

Alejandro Tabilo comes off a decent showing in Montreal at the Canadian Open and was playing well before being knocked out by world number one Jannik Sinner. Tabilo is enjoying a fine year and is playing well on all surfaces so he will be confident of a good showing in the States this week.

He meets Luciano Darderi who is very much a clay-court specialist and he has played very few tournaments outside of that surface this year. He was knocked out in the first round in Canada last week by Tommy Paul and suffered the same fate the week before in the Olympics to the same player.

Tabilo and Darderi have met once before and that came earlier this year. Tabilo won in straight sets and on a different surface, that will likely favour Tabilo even more so. We’re backing Tabilo to win this one comfortably.
