28-year-old Taro Daniel has come all the way from the qualifiers into the semi-finals of the Serbia Open in emphatic style and has overcome two difficult opponents in John Millman and Federico Delbonis in his last two matches. The world number 126 has twice fought back from a set down to beat higher-ranked opponents but to beat Matteo Berrettini here would be one of the biggest victories of his career. World number 10 Berrettini is yet to drop a set in Belgrade and the Italian took out a strong competitor in Filip Krajinovic on Friday. Berrettini should be winning this match in straight sets on any given day but Taro Daniel is clearly on an incredible trail of momentum here. The likely outcome is still the Italian in two but Daniel should challenge throughout and it would not be a surprise now to see him force a decider.
