THE PREDICTION
World number three was able to exert his dominance over 19-year-old rising star Jannik Sinner with a straight-sets victory in their quarter-final on Friday and he looks the hot favourite for the title here now that reigning champion Stefanos Tsitsipas has been knocked out. In a week of shock results, Matthew Ebden provided one of the biggest by coming back from a set down to beat third seed Karen Khachanov on Friday and his reward is a shot at the first seed now. 33-year-old Ebden has been in excellent form this season considering his current ATP ranking at world number 287 but Medvedev will be locked-in for the title here now with just one seed left in the draw and this should be a fairly straight-forward two-set victory for the 25-year-old.
