World number 89 Salvatore Caruso was mentally strong to return to his first round match with Lucas Catarina a day later due to rain and win from behind in three sets. The Italian has, however, not been rewarded for his efforts as he faces world number eight Andrey Rublev here in the knowledge that he was thrashed by the Russian in their first meeting.
