THE PREDICTION
31-year-old John Millman has won just one tour-level match this year so far and that was his second back in January against Team Greece’s Michail Pervolarakis at the ATP Cup. The Aussie won his first ATP title last season and has been a little off the boil since then but he will almost certainly find his way back to form soon enough. He faces Frenchman Ugo Humbert for the second time, having beaten the youngster at the Australian Open last season over four sets in the first round there. Since then, Humbert has developed into an extremely difficult player on the big stage and left unchecked the left-hander could go deep into the week here in Monaco. Millman lost his sixth match in a row last week to Laslo Djere at the Sardegna Open and should fall in straight sets again here to Humbert.
