The 24-year-old also won the Yarra Valley Classic in Melbourne and defended her Miami Open title at the start of the month and she will be the favourite for this next Masters tournament too. Barty leads world number 43 Shelby Rogers 4-0 in their head-to-head and quite remarkably has already beaten the American three times this year at the Yarra Valley Classic, Australian Open and in Charleston earlier this month. Two of those three encounters have seen three sets and so it could be worth opting for Barty to win this match 2-1 instead of outright here, especially as she comes in off the emotion of a title-winning campaign.
