Seeded on his debut at Indian Wells, Alcaraz is just one of a myriad of teenagers ushering in a new dawn in tennis.
Former world number one Andy Murray defeated Adrian Mannarino in confident straight sets on Friday. The 14-time Masters champion has never won at Indian Wells before but the main focus this season is staying fit and consistent on his long and well-documented road to recovery following hip surgery. The 34-year-old won the last of his 46 career titles back in 2019 at the European Open.

With his misplaced tennis shoes returned, and thankfully his wedding ring still attached, Andy Murray looked in good shape against Adrian Mannarino on Friday to come through with little trouble.
