Juan Manuel Cerundolo has put together a decent run on hardcourt to ensure 2026 will go down as his best yet.
The Argentine had previously been known for being more of a clay-courter, but this season it has been different and he’s just come off a solid North American hardcourt swing.
That will probably be bad news for Chinese wildcard Yi Zhou, who has made little impression in main draws, although the few wins the 21-year-old underdog has scored have come in tournaments in and around his homeland.
That said, it’s a tall order to back against Juan Manuel, who is over 200 places higher on the ATP ladder and playing with confidence.
