The Croatian has struggled through two three-set matches so far including an exciting tussle with 17-year-old wonderkid Carlos Alcaraz but he should be confident of victory in this quarter-final as he leads the head-to-head record with Anderson 6-1. 34-year-old Anderson is still an exceptional player when fit but the South African should find this match-up tough going with Cilic a very patient opponent. World number 41 Cilic will have no problem going the distance and waiting for his moments but there seems a better option here than picking a result.
