World number 19 is well on his way to breaking the top 10 of the ATP by the end of the year and qualifying for the ATP Finals is definitely a possibility if he can stay this hot all season. The Italian beat Andrey Rublev for the first time in their quarter-final via a confident performance and he will meet Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals for a third career meeting, with a win apiece so far on their record. World number five Tsitsipas was assured in his defeat of Felix Auger-Aliassime in two relatively comfortable sets and will be the favourite for this semi-final in this searing form having not dropped a set since the Miami Open quarter-finals on April 1st. The 22-year-old is on an eight-match winning streak and looks destined to reach this final for a potential showdown with Rafael Nadal but Sinner will challenge him throughout this semi-final first. 19-year-old Sinner beat Tsitsipas in their previous meeting on clay over three sets at last year’s Rome Masters but in this form it is hard to see the Greek concede a whole set even if he goes down a break. Take Tsitsipas to win this match outright but via two sets at your peril as Sinner is very much the real deal.
