Coleman Wong arrives in Chengdu on the back of a run of strong results. 

The wildcard has flourished since the switch back to hardcourts, winning 11 of his last 14 matches if you include qualifiers. 

First up in Chengdu, he meets Taro Daniel, who put aside just one win in eight to surge through qualifying here. 

This will be their first tour-level meeting, although they have met twice before elsewhere with honours even.

Wong edged a tight first encounter on a hard court and the Hong Kong star will fancy his chances again in familiar surroundings, although it may well be tight.
