Tallon Griekspoor vs Miomir Kecmanovic prediction

Tallon Griekspoor fell to a second-round defeat to Jack Draper in Madrid last time out, losing 6-3 6-4. This was a disappointment for the Dutchman, having performed well in Munich a week earlier. Griekspoor had breezed through his opening two rounds and served for the match against top seed Alexander Zverev but eventually fell to a close three set loss in the quarter-final.

Miomir Kecmanovic lost in the first-round of Madrid but fared a lot better at the Estoril Open on the Challenger tour last week, reeling off three wins in a row before a semi-final defeat to Alex Michelsen. 

Griekspoor leads the head-to-head 3-1 and won their last encounter in the first-round of Indian Wells earlier this year, coming from a set down to win 6-7 6-4 6-3 but this will be their first match on clay.

The Dutchman’s aggressive game should be enough for him to win but Kecmanovic will be in a more positive frame of mind after his run in Estoril.
