The prediction

The GWS Giants once again fell in Canberra to the Western Bulldogs, for the third time in as many attempts. They return to Sydney as an away team and will surely be outnumbered supporter-wise by the Swans faithful.

The Swans were never in the hunt against the Gold Coast Suns and went down by 38 points. This comes off the back of their narrow loss at home to Port Adelaide a week prior. The Swans have underachieved and currently sit in 14th position on the ladder with just two wins from their first seven matches. Last year‘s grand finalists are yet to gain any real momentum, and this is surely not what first year head coach, Dean Cox envisaged.

While the GWS Giants were disappointing in Canberra, the heavy possession winners in Lachy Whitfield, and Tom Green combined with the goals scoring threat of Jesse Hogan make them a warm favourite in this one.
