Sydney FC vs Melbourne City prediction

Sydney FC currently sit six points behind second-placed Auckland FC following the weekend’s games, so it’s important for them to maintain their recent unbeaten streak and to make it three wins in their last four A-League fixtures. They’ll be expected to dominate much of the play here and create the most opportunities to score, so being clinical will be key.

Melbourne City are slumping badly with no wins in their last five in all competitions and their last A-League victory coming all the way back in mid-January. They are coming off the back of consecutive defeats and the backline is badly out of form, conceding three times in each of those last two losses. It would be a real surprise if Sydney FC didn’t put them away comfortably.

Sydney FC vs Melbourne City tip: Sydney FC to win with -1 handicap
