Surrey won the South Group last season but, generally, their T20 campaigns have been majorly underwhelming. After back-to-back wins to kick off their campaign, they were again beaten on Friday, losing by five wickets against the Hampshire Hawks.

The Kent Spitfires come into this one with some real white-ball stars in their side, notably Sam Billings, but after their own back-to-back wins, they were annihilated by the pointless Essex Eagles in Canterbury on Friday night.

Kent will believe they do have some big game players in their ranks but, frankly, any side beating Surrey at The Oval will have to seriously go some this season.
