Surrey, who won the South Group last season, come into this one on the back of defeating Middlesex quite easily the other day, winning by eight wickets as they chased 131 in just 14.1 overs after back-to-back defeats before that one.

They now face a Hampshire Hawks side that have managed four victories with one defeat in their opening five matches. They sit at the top of the group, just above Surrey, after a hammering of the Sussex Sharks the other day.

Hampshire have been impressive as they focus on white-ball stuff this time around but it is always a risk to back against Surrey, especially when playing at The Oval.
