German outfit Stuttgart will believe they are one of the firm favourites to win this competition as they welcome Israeli champions Maccabi Tel-Aviv to the VfB Stadion.

The home team have been improving as the season has gone on as they sit tucked inside the top six in the Bundesliga but they were most recently beaten 5-0 by Bayern Munich in a game that was much tighter than that result would suggest.
They face a Maccabi Tel-Aviv side that have started their UEFA Europa League campaign with just one point collected from their opening five matches, scoring just one goal in those games, too. They most recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the Israeli Premier League at the weekend.
