Strasbourg vs Lorient prediction
Strasbourg earned themselves another good win in midweek as they defeated Aberdeen by a goal to nil in the UEFA Europa Conference League, courtesy of a Martial Godo goal. However, Liam Rosenior’s side suffered their fourth defeat in five Ligue 1 matches due to a slender 1-0 defeat to Toulouse at Stadium de Toulouse.
Following promotion to the top-flight last season, Lorient have moved themselves into the middle-of-the-table with back-to-back draws having been followed by back-to-back victories. They most recently edged past Olympique Lyonnais by a goal to nil last week, courtesy of a 39th minute strike scored by Pablo Pagis.
Lorient will take a lot of confidence into this one and Strasbourg are one of the more progressive sides in France and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.
