Stoke vs Sheffield Wednesday prediction

Former Coventry City boss Mark Robins may well have finally eased Stoke City away from the bottom three and the relegation places. The Potters come into this one on the back of a four-match unbeaten run of form which continued with a 1-0 win away at Cardiff City in south Wales last weekend courtesy of a late own goal scored by Will Fish.

They now face a Sheffield Wednesday side that have been in the news due to the failure to pay their players on time last month and it does appear that Danny Rohl will depart the club this summer. The Owls have drifted in that time, too, as they come into this one on the back of a five-match winless run of form.

A victory for Stoke could more or less secure survival in the second-tier and siding with them for this clash at the Bet365 Stadium may well be the way to go for this one.

Stoke vs Sheffield Wednesday tip: Double chance – Stoke to win or draw
