The prediction
St Kilda sit just about tucked inside the top ten, ahead of Carlton who they are level on points with. The Saints come into this one on the back of a 31-point defeat of North Melbourne last week, meaning that they have won three of their last four matches.
The Sydney Swans are beginning the round sitting second in the AFL ladder but now four victories short of the impressive leaders, Fremantle. The Swans earned a 51-point demolition of the GWS Giants in their most recent outing.
Sydney had been beaten by Fremantle and the Adelaide Crows before that emphatic return to form and, again against poorer opposition, Sydney have to be viewed as favourites here.
