The prediction

Much is expected of St Kilda this season after they bolstered their squad significantly following the conclusion of the 2025 campaign, which saw them finish in 12th position.

The likes of Sam Flanders, Liam Ryan and Tom De Koning have joined their ranks, so the belief is that they can push towards a Finals place at the very least.

Personnel changes have also been prevalent at Collingwood, but there is a little less optimism around their 2026 prospects, especially as they have lost the influential Brody Mihocek to Melbourne and Will Hoskin-Elliott to retirement.
