The prediction
St Kilda sit 11th in the AFL table and just one victory short of the top ten and the play-off places. The Saints come into this one on the back of a 19-point loss to second place the Sydney Swans in their most recent outing, last weekend.
Ever since the departure of Michael Voss after a shocking start to the campaign, on and off the pitch, Carlton have been much-improved and they are the team that sit tenth and just ahead of the Saints ahead of their clash at Marvel Stadium in Docklands.
Carlton managed to get themselves an impressive 76-point hammering of in-form defending champions the Brisbane Lions and they have to be viewed as the favourites here, too, cementing themselves in the top ten.
