Somerset began the defence of their T20 title with impressive run chases against the Hampshire Hawks and the Warwickshire Bears, while Glamorgan had themselves started with back-to-back defeats against the Northamptonshire Steelbacks and then Gloucestershire in The Severnside Derby.

Glamorgan will have confidence ahead of this one and the toss may be important but Somerset have to remain firm favourites for this one at Taunton.
