Sheffield United have been impressive in the face of adversity this season but Chris Wilder’s Blades may well be collapsing at the very wrong time. They gave up two late goals to lose by two goals to one at bottom-of-the-table Plymouth Argyle at Home Park last weekend to mean they have now suffered three successive defeats.
Cardiff City begin Good Friday sitting tucked inside the bottom three and the relegation places and a drop to the third-tier is becoming increasingly likely. The Bluebirds were beaten by fellow strugglers Stoke City by a goal to nil at the Cardiff City Stadium last weekend due to an own goal scored by Will Fish in the 85th minute.
Sheffield United have hardly ever blown a team away this season even though they should win this one in Yorkshire, it is unlikely to be a convincing victory for Wilder’s Blades.
