Sevilla vs Atletico Madrid prediction

For the first time since 2022, Sevilla have started their La Liga campaign with back-to-back victories. After a fortunate come from behind 2-1 defeat of Rayo Vallecano in Seville in their opener, Luis Garcia Plaza’s Andalusians then took advantage of a bizarrely chaotic Athletic Club side to win 3-1 in the Basque Country.

Atletico Madrid won their opener by two goals to nil at home to Malaga before their second game was overshadowed by the reception of the crowd given to Julian Alvarez. In that game against Villarreal, Atleti took a second half lead then fell behind while going down to ten men before Giuliano Simeone snatched Los Rojiblancos a late point.

Atletico are very loose at the back and Sevilla will fancy themselves to punish them in front of their home crowd here and perhaps even topple the stagnating visitors.

Sevilla vs Atletico Madrid tip: Double chance – Sevilla to win or draw & both teams to score
