Serbia vs England prediction

Competence would have likely been enough for Serbia to beat England to top spot in Group K, but the Serbs, despite their impressive array of talent, have already dropped points due to a goalless draw with Albania in June. They were unconvincing in a defeat of Latvia in Riga the other day.

England were once again woeful against Andorra as the UEFA EURO 2020 and UEFA EURO 2024 runners’ up continue to underwhelm and regress, with The FA having ripped up everything they had built, which is in noticeable contrast to Argentina and Spain, who have successfully doubled down on the off-field operations they had built.

Thomas Tuchel has come in to win now and ignore all of that progress, but England aren’t quite at that sort of level in terms of their quality, and any sort of competence appears to be a challenge for The Three Lions to overcome.

Tuchel’s five matches have seen three very underwhelming home wins against Andorra, Albania and Latvia. A 1-0 win against Andorra in Spain, and a 3-1 defeat at home to Senegal. Heading to Belgrade is a level up on any of that, and they’ve already struggled.

Serbia vs England tip: Double chance – Serbia to win or draw
