Saudi Arabia head into this competition in good form, losing just one of their last five games and with a squad containing many familiar names, they’ve every reason to be confident of going all the way. Salem Al Dawsari is one such player who could play a prominent role for the Green Falcons and head coach Herve Renard needs to deliver success with this squad to keep the supporters onside.

Oman are dangerous opposition to begin the group stage. Veteran Carlos Queiroz is an excellent coach and will no doubt set his side up well, making them difficult to beat and compact off the ball. However, with the players at the disposal of Renard, Saudi Arabia should eventually overwhelm Oman offensively and do enough to pick up three points.
