Sada Nahimana vs Panna Udvardy prediction
Sada Nahimana pulled off an upset in the first-round of the Morocco Open as she beat Ajla Tomljanovic in straight sets. The wildcard made a strong start to the match and despite going 4-2 down in the second set, came back to win 6-3 7-5. This result was her first ever top 100 win, and the first by any player from Burundi in WTA history.
She now takes on Panna Udvardy. The Hungarian enjoyed a comfortable first-round win over Hanne Vandewinkel. She did not face a break point throughout and won 85% of her first serve points as she claimed a 6-4 6-2 victory. Udvady is aiming to progress to her second tour-level final of the campaign, having achieved the feat in Bogota earlier this year.
Udvardy has a lot more experience at this level, and she will be a firm favourite to make it through to the next stage.
