THE PREDICTION
Montpellier put in one of the more surprising results of the weekend last Saturday when they beat in-form Racing 92 21-32 away from home. That result snapped a two-match losing run but both defeats came very close at Bordeaux and at home to Clermont which suggests a result like this was on the horizon after all. They host a Lyon side who rarely win on the road, although they have done so already this season at newly-promoted Biarritz earlier this month, coming off a 23-18 defeat at Stade Francais. As always with Lyon, were this fixture at their fortress we would see a totally different call. They are the only side to beat the insatiable leaders Toulouse this season but they will likely lose away from home here to a Montpellier side that can cover -5 in victory.
