THE PREDICTION
Bordeaux bounced-back from their 11-26 Top 14 defeat at home by La Rochelle by beating current Premiership leaders Bristol Bears 36-17 last SUnday. That emphatic victory should spur them on to make a real statement in this quarter-final clash with fellow wrench side Racing 92, and their home form suggests they can double down with another win here. Travelling Racing completely destroyed Edinburgh in Paris last weekend, conceding just a penalty in a 56-3 dismissal, but they have lost their last two away matches in the Top 14 and Bordeaux were the winners in their previous meeting 32-33 back in January. By the time this match takes place the teams could be odds-on apiece here in what should be an enthralling match but beating a tough, in-form side like Bristol should help Bordeaux snatch this one on the road.
